Christmas Vacation!
Here are some pictures of our Christmas vacation! I regret not having gotten more pictures of Matt's family and our actual Christmas but oh well. This is their house in Pennsylvania. I noticed that houses in the East don't look like houses in the West. I only saw one split level. Haha. And I saw one house that could have been Pemberley. It was huge. It was owned by a dad who built one for his son and one for his daughter which were smaller - but of course still bigger than my high school. Haha.
On the Saturday after Christmas we went down to Baltimore to visit Matt's grandma. Washington D.C. is only about 30 minutes from there so we went and saw a few of the monuments as well.
In this picture we were at the World War II memorial looking back up at the Washington memorial. Matt's mom is in the picture with us. They had the water turned off so the fountains didn't look very cool but it was neat anyway.
Ok, here we are with Matt's grandma and his brother Alex. We're standing almost where we were in the picture above this just facing the other direction toward the Lincoln memorial. You can't really see it in the picture but Alex has pretty long hair which he was constantly being ribbed about through the entire trip. Haha. I thought it looked pretty good though - don't tell his mom I said that though. Haha! Just kidding.
This is the Jefferson memorial. We didn't do much here, I just thought it was a good picture. It would be really cool to live so close to so many historical things, and not only the political things but the architecture and museums as well.
